The possible definitions of the terms which will be used while undertaking the project are as follows:

Critical path: Critical path is the longest path in context to time from initiation to closure phase of the project.

Bottom-up estimation: Bottom-up estimation generally involves the estimation of the budget from the lowest level of the project in order to make an accurate estimation

Assessment guidelines:

Produce a 1000-word essay (+/-10%) (excluding the list of references) by using the teaching and learning material covered in weeks 1 to 7, in
order to develop your thoughts and perspectives on contemporary project management issues, and be intellectually creative (underpinned by
credible resources).

Learning outcomes applied in this assessment

Evaluate the various risks inherent to the project environment and mitigate accordingly.


Write up an evaluation of the human aspects of managing the project detailed in assessment 1, including, but not limited to, risk management,
change management, and stakeholder management.
