REFLECTION
Introduction
 I am a student is conscious of the fact that I should have a high-
degree of self-awareness.
 It is an ability to be aware of my own strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threats.
 It also helps in accomplishing long and short term goals in life
Introduction
 I took my time to undertake the UCLan Career Edge Temperament Online Test
(MBTI Typology), UCLan Career Edge Sound Decision-Making Online Test,
Global Emotional Intelligence Online Test, Barrett Values Online Test, and the
Conflict Management Online
 Each of these tests is important because they enabled me to know something
about myself
My Expectations
 I was expecting to find out that I am an extrovert and outgoing person who
manages his temperament well. However, from the MBTI Typology test I took,
I established that I am actually an introvert
 It revealed I am a reserved person who prefers introspection and loneliness
 After taking the decision-making test, I found out that I am indeed a perfect
decision-maker
My Expectations
 The other expectation that I had a strong Emotional Intelligence (EI).
 I also established that I have excellent self-management and relationship
management skills. This means that I have excellent EI capabilities that I can
bank on to manage my own emotions as well as the emotions of others (Najjar
and Fares 2017).
 After the test, I realized that I am actually accommodative and compromising

 The truth is that he data from the tests was quite surprising to me. The truth
is, nonetheless, that there are some test results which did not surprise me at
all. That is because I was expecting to get such a result
 The test results that did not shock me at all include the ones for EI, decision-
making, and conflict-management styles. As already hinted, the findings from
each of these tests only affirmed what I already had in mind For example, I
always presumed that I am a good decision-maker and conflict-manager

 For example, although I had been thinking that I am an extrovert, I came to
find out that I am actually not such a personality. Instead, I now acknowledge
that I am an introvert person who is very much reserved. I was not aware that
I have such kind of temperament (Song 2018)
 I realized that we should not make assumptions without conducting a proper
research. Such assumptions are not alight because they can mislead people to
do what they ought not to have done
The Significance of the Data
 I dedicated my time to take the tests because I knew that they are important
to me. The findings from the test would not only inform me, but to make
improvements as well.
 The data from the test has been important because it has given me certain
insights.
 The test on temperament sensitized me on my temperament. At least, now,
thanks to the test, I am aware of my attributes as an introvert person
 As a student, I should be aware of my temperament because I interact with
many people on a day-to-day basis (Wen, Huang and Hou 2019). If I fail to
know the level of my temperament, I might jeopardize my interpersonal
relations and end up becoming a misfit in the midst of my colleagues
 Self-awareness and self-management are attributes that I need to nurture and
horn because they will always be useful to me
The Significance of the Data
 The other significance of the test is that it sensitized me on my decision-making
capabilities.
 The knowledge on my decision-making capabilities maters a lot to me. I should be
aware of my decision-making capabilities so as to be able to make decisions which
can have positive impacts on me and other people. Decision-making should be
taken seriously because it can determine my success
 With excellent decision-making skills, I can manage to be a useful person who can
be entrusted with problem-solving.
 The test on EI also sensitized me a lot. Now, I am aware that I have strong EI
capabilities. With a sound knowledge of self-management and relationship
management, I can undoubtedly manage my own emotions as well as my
accomplices’
 Last, but not least, knowledge on conflict-management styles also matters to me

 In a nutshell, through the tests, now, I am self-aware. Self-awareness is
something I should never compromise because it can play a critical role in
building and strengthening me.
 I know the strong attributes that I should strengthen so as to be better that I
am at the moment. Also, I know the weak areas that I need to improve on so
as to be better as well (de Groot- Reuvekamp , Ros and van Boxtel 2018).
 Because of this, I am able to make the necessary adjustments so as to be
better than I have been
The Commonalities
 The tests that I did were quite different because they were aimed at testing
different attributes about me.
 The test on EI, decision-making, and conflict management did not disappoint
me in whatever way. I realized that the test results were common because
they just strengthened my belief on the kind of person whom I am.
 The issue of commonality arose because I had done alternatives tests before.
 There are inconsistencies in certain tests because the results conflict with
what I already had in my mind. The existence of such commonalties means
that the tests are consistent and can be relied upon to unmask individual
attributes no matter how unique they might be.

 The Barret Value Test has been very crucial in revealing my true personality
which I can further use in order to my professional field for better outcomes
 The central goal which serves my common goals is the fact that I believe in
self-less service, as well as I am very keen on making a difference.
 The low points include the fact that I need to improve my self esteem as well
as my relationships and work on survival instincts
Conclusion
 I must acknowledge that the tests that I undertook are worth my time. I did a
good thing by taking the UCLan Career Edge Temperament Online Test (MBTI

behaviors so as to be a good person in the midst of others in the community in
which I live
